What Resend does well
Resend earned its reputation. The developer onboarding is superb, the docs are clean, and React Email is one of the best open-source email projects around — 1.4M weekly downloads for a reason. If your needs are purely outbound and React-centric, you will be happy there. Drin's argument isn't that Resend is bad; it's that email is bigger than sending, and paying one bill for the whole of it beats stitching inbound, marketing and agent tooling together yourself.
